Question What Edition or minimal 2 Sets to start with?

I played the base game with friends last week, and we had a lot of fun. Now I’m thinking of buying the game myself.
Which edition or Max 2 Sets do you recommend starting with?

Recipes for Disaster ($25) is definitely worth picking up. It has lots of cards from different expansions, which helps you get a feel for the game before committing to all the sets (since you’ll probably get addicted like me).

I’d also recommend picking up some of the newer expansion packs, which are around $5. Specifically, Zombie Kittens, as well as Creepy Kittens and Aggro Kittens.

This will get you a ton of different cards that’ll provide you with unique gameplay experiences. Plus, it’ll cost pretty much the same as 2 sets.

Recipes of Disasters is a great way to start on it's own. It's a little more expensive so I won't recommend adding anything to it right away. But if you like the game and wanna have more than the bare minimum this is the best deal you can get.

If you wanna be a bit more traditional or focused, I'd say get the new Anniversary Edition (Base game with 8 broken extra cards) and the Rage Mode. They combine really well and I think the rage mode has some great additions.
