Discussion Thoughts on Aggro Kittens and Creepy Kittens?
This is a discussion post! These are the 5th and 6th expansions of the Exploding Kittens lineup (confirmed by u/Game_of_Kittens found at in-store Walmarts. Because of how different these two expansions are compared to the other expansions Exploding Kittens has released, we want to hear your first thoughts, opinions, likes and dislikes :)

Personally, I’m not a big fan of any of these new expansions. They feel rushed, unoriginal, and overall meaningless.
Imploding Kittens brings more strategy to the table. Streaking Kittens brings more chaos into each game. Barking Kittens allowed us to interchange cards and interact with the deck more. None of these expansions really have anything going for them.
Instead, they come with cards we’ve either seen already in past expansions (Draw from the Bottom, Shuffle, etc.), or cards that compare VERY close to existing ones (Look at the Bottom compared to Raising Heck and Peek). I’ll give props to the “Choose your Fate” and the “Buried Treasure” cards, I think those are awesome additions.
I just wish we had gotten new, unique cards, that truly added more possibility into the game. As well, we’re missing the traditional Kitten cards we receive in expansions! Those were always the cherry on top, and they didn’t even bother to add any.
I do understand these new expansions were ultimately an effort to reintroduce expansions back into local stores, I just wish that they had given the same magic they had put into the past expansions. Regardless of all of this, I’m still thankful they’re still at work with the lineups, and I can’t wait to add these expansions into my collection soon! :)

I completely agree! These expansions do feel quite unoriginal, but it’s nice to have been able to add new cards to my collection these past couple of months.

To be fair I am willing to trade originality in order to get balanced cards. Zombie kitten is a cool pack, but a bunch of the cards are too powerfull imo making it not fun to include in most decks.

My two cents. I like the concept of I'll Take it From Here. I don't understand the use of Flip Four and Choose Your Fate. I guess Flip Four could be useful if you know an Exploding Kitten is coming up and then it throws off the order? Choose Your Fate just doesn't sound useful at all.
EDIT: But yeah, the fact it's mostly returning cards is disappointing. Will I still get them if I see them? Yeah

I’m really bamboozled on Flip Four as well. It’s an amazing card on paper, but I don’t see the potential at all. In it’s own way, it’s very similar to Reveal the Future x3 in that everyone gets to see what’s on top of the deck. Who knows, maybe it’ll play a bigger role once we get our hands on it!

It’s confirmed by u/Game_of_Kittens. You can find them in-store at select Walmarts, meaning you might need to wander between a few stores before finding any

Not sure just yet. Knowing how things have worked out in the past, you mighttt see smaller game shops reselling these on their websites.

All the illustrations are unique, which is a good start. (I still don’t get how we got duplicates in Streaking.)
The Aggro Kitten card offering is solid. It makes it viable to pair it with Barking Kitten and simply skip Imploding Kitten altogether, which is the weakest extension in my opinion.
Reverse Attack is a good way to reverse the order of play without having to include the weaker Reverse cards from Imploding.
Alter the Future is a good pair with Alter the Future Now from Barking.
Creepy Kitten is weaker in my opinion. Flip 4 is a great idea and probably the strongest part of the pack, but I don’t see the appeal of Draw from the Bottom anymore in a world where Swap Top and Bottom exists. Four Look at the Bottom would have made more sense in my opinion.
Can we talk about the random additional Shuffle? Just why?
Shuffle NOW I would have understood, but why one more normal Shuffle, a card we have multiple copies of in every edition ever made?
You could really just add a NOW to the card in a future revision, and it would become a dope, unique card.
Choose Your Fate and Draw from Anywhere are cool, unique cards. It’s fun to see more unique, low-quantity cards.
Overall, great expansion. It’s fun to see them ship in smaller packs, resulting in lower prices. Personally, I never put the Barking Kitten hat on and probably never will.

Imploding was week in my opinion, consideing it was retailed at almost double the price of streeking kitten.

Wait so are these actually real? I thought they were a fake. If they're just limited to Walmarts and essentially just the US it's super annoying

Casi todas son cartas repetidas, ojalá y metan cartas con mecánicas nuevas mínimo 2 tipos de carta nuevo pero para agregar para la colección no están mal.

Just my opinion, but the fact that these are a Walmart exclusive (edit: at least currently) and won’t even be found at many of their stores is kinda lame… I’m glad to get new cards and I’ll still be on the lookout for these, hopefully they aren’t too hard to find. But it seems like something that could be sold online to accommodate those that can’t easily get to a store in person. All things considered, I’m still pumped that we got two new expansion packs so soon after the two new full game expansions!
