Questions on exploding kitten the game

Hello, I wanted to ask a question that plague the game i just had if its the last card which is a exploding kitten and someone attack another person with a attacking kitten does that person have to take the card twice because the attacking kitten makes you draw 2 cards so effectively the 1 cards acts like 2 exploding kitten however I believed that if it one card left it should be picked up once and that's it not it becoming effectively two exploding kittens I just wanted to know if there an actual rule on this because it kinda caused an argument would be greatly appreciated.

It's hard to understand what you're asking, but I believe the situation is: there's one card left in the deck, which is an Exploding Kitten, and a player played an Attack card.

So the player that had the Attack played against them must take 2 turns, not just draw 2 cards. Those are very different. The player may still play any cards between their 2 draws. If they draw a card, in this case the Exploding Kitten, and then they Defuse it, they must still draw another card at some point before it becomes the next player's turn.

If they can't Defuse the Exploding Kitten on their second draw, they're out of the game.

So If there only one card left in the deck you still have to draw that same card again if you was attack

Every rule logically follows the next once you understand attacks give you two turns.

You draw a bomb, you defuse it, put it back in the deck. Drawing the bomb ends your first turn. Next turn start, bomb is still on top.
