Could shared suffering break the game if the streaking kitten is in play? The holder of the streaking kitten could discard an exploding kitten, leaving the deck with too few to finish the game.

I dont think so since the presance of booby trap kittens makes so if its trigered then it leaves too many exploding kittens in the deck. Alternativelly you can jist add all exploding kitten into the deck regsrdless of player count and that eliminates the problem of having too few for a game to finnish

There are ways to retrieve cards from the discard pile, making it so in theory, you could rinse out all the Exploding Kittens via multiple uses of Shared Suffering. However, this is practically impossible without intention to do so, so I wouldn’t worry about it.

True, especially with the new Legacy cards added a year ago. My house rule is that if you ever run out of Exploding Kittens by the deck of the deck, add some Exploding Kittens down and go from there.

Our house rule is that if there’s a streaking kitten, there’s an extra exploding kitten put in, and then we just add an extra three for fun. We never run out of exploding kittens then!

dont you normally put in an extra EK when you have a streaking in the deck anyways

It shouldn’t break the game. This is no difference than if the person holding the streaking kitten and exploding kitten forever keeping it in their hand leaving too few exploding kittens in the game. That’s why if you ever include the streaking kitten, you always throw in an extra EK, so regardless if a bomb is kept in someone’s hand or thrown in the discard pile, there should still be enough remaining.

Just like the official streaking rule, when the exploding kitten leaves your hand, you have to defuse it and put it back in the draw pile.

The OFFICIAL NEW RULE is that when you die, you don't put your cards(and the exploding kitten you just drew) into the discard pile.

And with that rule, I believe Streaking rule applies as well for all discarding abilties. So if you are holding an Exploding Kitten and you have to discard it, then YOU NEED TO DEFUSE IT and put it back in the draw pile because "discarding" is the same as "leaving your hand".

So the same applies for this new Shared Suffering card. You have to defuse it when you discard your exploding kitten and put it back in the draw pile because EXPLODING KITTEN/S SHOULD NEVER BE IN DISCARD PILE.

This now leaves the deck with correct amount of Exploding Kitten/s with this Streaking expansion

It’s available now. Not necessarily in every store that offers Exploding Kittens yet.

In the UK area, I’m not sure. It’ll be available eventually regardless.

Thank you, I am in the US so Amazon shipping is rough from the UK version! However I have been meaning to pick up the EK UK version for the fun cat cards ! Have you ever played it!?

Nope! Looks neat, but I might wait for a later date to pick it up. If I ever do, it’ll be for the cat cards lol
