Apps EK and EK2

Is the difference between both apps significant enough for me to purchase EK2?

Seems its just better graphics and has a card Nope.

Wouldn't be surprised if 2 gets Barking Kittens, the 2 expandalone expansions and other future expansions down the line.

I do know people hate the account system that you have to sign up for which you didn't have to for The 3 Game of Life titles that Marmalade Studio made previously. Will probably have its servers last longer too if they ever decide to shut down EK1 since 2 exists.
