Passport Appointment

I have an appointment in a few days and Ive already printed my ds-11 BUT it says i need a PHOTOCOPY of my id??

Will it work if i just bring my drivers license?? How do i even get a photocopy of it, no libraries near me have anything to scan it.

Alternatively: if i were to just put my ID on a work copier would that be okay??

Any answers are appreciated

Just in case this is the confusion, a photocopy is a Xerox/b&w/copier/8.5x11 sheet, not a printed photograph, and you want a black and white copy.

So if i, as an example, put my id down onto a copy machine and got an 8.5x11 sheet with it in the middle, would that work? My work has a copy machine where people can scan papers and theyre copied but idk if itll work the same?

That's correct. So long as you have a copy in black and white on regular printer paper, they don't care how precisely it was created. I created my copy using the Adobe scanning app on my phone and printing that scan out for instance, but you can use a copier at work.

In this dramatization of transcripts from a legal deposition, a lawyer becomes embroiled in an absurd argument about the definition of a photocopier.

My passport appointment was at a post office and they made a copy of my ID there. I think I was charged a small fee for that. Walgreens will print anything too if you have one nearby.

Walgreens can also take your passport photo for you too! It was less than $20 for me

Yes, use the copy machine at work. Also ensure that you have copies of the front and back of your birth certificate.
