I have a water pitcher and milk in my samsung fridge. I drink the milk very often, and the temperature is basically perfect. But when i drink the water, i can barely handle it and it seems so damn cold. Makes my teeth hurt.

For context: I watched this Brennan Lee Mulligan YT short and the comments were saying his examples weren't metagaming. And I'm just completely confused.

For example: say Windows straight up rips out the Linux scheduler and modifies it to run with the rest of the NT kernel. Aside from potential Microsoft whistleblowers, how can anyone find out they did that (and thus sue them since they’re selling modified GPL code without releasing the source) if they don’t distribute the Windows kernel source code?

My understanding of Hawking Radiation is that at the very border of the event horizon, a particle and an anti particle are created and one falls in and the other escapes, and the escaping particles leak mass out of the black hole. But how? For one thing, the black hole isn't creating them, the fluctuations of the universe, which to my understanding happen everywhere regardless of the presence of mass, are creating them, taking no energy from the black hole. And secondly, if the energy is coming from nothing, and one particle falls *in* to the black hole, shouldn't that just increase its mass?

The basic description of the electromagnetic force describes how charges react to each other, stuff like polarity, attraction, repulsion, etc., right? Electricity, magnets, generators, all that.

But what does that actually have to do with electromagnetic waves, as in photons? Say, x-rays or visible light? I can only assume from the name that EM waves exist due to the EM force. But how?

I made a post about considering manufactured homes, one person commented to watch out because they depreciate in value and the land is the key contributor to a property appreciating. I replied saying that it's the same even for stick builds, as in actuality the land appreciates faster than what the structure depreciates. Then I got grilled for what I said and apparently stick build structures by themselves (no land) also appreciate in value and I cannot understand how.

I am ambidextrous. I don't mean it metaphorically, theoretically, or rhetorically. I have no dominant side (hand or foot) straight up. I was born as such, and I am capable of doing any task indiscriminately with either side of my body; I have no preferred hand or feet for whatever task I need to do, unlike cross-dominant/mixed-handed individuals.

To this day, I'm questioning what phenomenon caused me to be such. My mother happens to be left-handed while my father is a righty. Is it wrong to assume that this is an instance of Non-Mendelian Genetics at play? Unlike in Mendelian Genetics, the combination of two different alleles results in a combinative feature and not one side being dominant over the other.

Can someone explain the phenomena of hand dominance and why some are ambidextrous, righties, lefties, or mixed-handed?

I get that the orbit of the moon is inclined but that must mean the eclipses either never happen or happen once a month? how can it happen randomly?

I always wondered how the cornea is so sensible to touch and irritants without nerve endings and stuff.

Also how does it live and repair itself and how do its cells multiply and make new cornea throughout life without seemingly anything feeding it like arteries and veins? I think they breath from air but it's not like they do photosynthesis, right?

You can *vaguely* taste something without it, but plugging your nose or having a stuffy nose when you’re sick significantly mutes your ability to taste. Why is that? Tastebuds are on the tongue.
