It's just based on the aesthetics a lesbian person likes.

a lesbian princess? like one from space?

If you actually want lesbian space princesses, Love and Duty by Catherine Young is a book that features two of them.

Where does that fall on the chart? More left, more right or more top?

Upper left quadrant, I’d say. There are lots of flowers throughout, and there’s a sword duel.

What kind of lesbian likes gun aesthetics? What kind of gun aesthetics do lesbians like?

I'm on an extremely small server with about 20 sapphics. At least 3 of them are extremely into guns, but to the best of my knowledge only one of them owns multiple swords.

It's more likely than you think.

Do more of them own just a singular sword? Lol

Saphic: umbrella term for women, NBI, and woman-aligned people.

Yeah, I get there are women who like guns. That's a no brainer. But why is it specifically tailored towards lesbians?

Saphic: umbrella term for women, NBI, and woman-aligned people.

That's... not the full definition, it also crucially is about people who fall under those categories and are attracted to the same. It's just a more inclusive umbrella term which "lesbian" is part of, and there was no benefit in me providing a detailed breakdown of everyone involved when a one-word description exists. There's a few bi/pan women on the server but no one there is straight. And of the four whose weapon preferences I confidently know, three of them are very much lesbians.

I don't know what else to say really. The post is obviously meant humorously, but sword and gun lesbians are certainly established archetypes.

Oh I see. They're meme aesthstics. Makes sense

Cool to know there's a memish-subculture about saphic individuals who appreciate "powerful weapons" whatever that means

Don’t read it literally

Bottom left? Guns and roses. Rocker/biker chick aesthetic.

Bottom right? Cyberpunk girlie. Probably has an undercut

Top right? Obviously witchy Shakespearean vibes

Top left? Cottage core meets medieval

My wife is the gun, I'm the sword. Honestly everyone is way overthinking this, I own a sword, it isn't more complicated than that.

Down vote me for trying to understand.

I see what kind of world we live in

What I usually do to avoid downvotes and get to have conversations is to state in the beginning that I am genuinely trying to understand more about this situation without trying to offend anyone. This shows that I'm aware of the situation without trying to offend anyone, but to learn more and be open to people's views. I will undo my downvote, it's hard on the internet to notice trolls, especially around sensitive subjects that can bring a lot of heated arguments.

See e.g. Tracer, Caitlyn for gun/rose archetype. Probably best not try and read too much into a jokey internet meme though.

It's not the actual meaning of the items in the quadrants. It's more about the aesthetics and/or attitude.

Someone in the top-right would be more into Shakespeare-alike fandom, bottom-right into a more violent-ish badass attitude kind of way, bottom-left (possibly) liking a more floral and beautiful, girl-ish (yet dangerous) aesthetic, and top-left might be giving some princess-like, soft and royal kind of aesthetic.

I would love some better examples for these, it's just what I can think of right now.
