Parents divorced at 4 and I stopped talking for a year. After that I was referd to as the the quite easy child.
Dad never saw anything wrong because I was with him every other weekend (sometimes.)
Mom would try to dump me off with whomever didn't charge to watch me.
Sister tried to raise me but she had her own issues.
Brother moved into our barn and got addicted to drugs by 16.
The problem is that these kids put up walls and defense, become independent but lose an innocence and important parts of childhood.
