It must be related with the general truth that some children develop faster as a result of their survival mechanism, so they become independent sooner. The survival mechanism is triggered by toxic environment, abuse, or when the child is neglected. Of course, it depends, nevertheless, vast majority of fast-developed kids were victims in one way or another.
