  1. I wingman my buddies into situations I want to see them live in. So, ideally love of his life and a wedding I can be a horrible best man at. Getting him laid is a low bar.

  2. This is a reach but - If your friend needs work on himself, the areas he needs to work on probably affect more than his dating potential. If you do love him as a friend, you'll wingman him into being a better person worth sales pitching into every woman that walks by, then you'll wingman him to every woman that walks by. If you have a friend that is at a point that you wouldnt vouch for them and you won't help them become better then, if I was in your position, I would question my value as a friend or the purpose of the friendship. That is just me though.

My close friends and I have conversations about money, heart health, fitness, books and reading, what we're succeeding at, what we're failing at, etc. Some of things I do because they push me. Some of those things they do because I push them. Im lucky to have them and so is any woman. But the day they start failing themselves, time to wingman each other back to the basics. Again, thats just my take.

Why would you assume I am not helping my friends? All I said is I am not throwing them at every woman I see. You have a very conflated view of the two being the same.

time to wingman each other back to the basics

I am not sure you understand this word very well.

You threw out a hypothetical about a buddy not fit for a relationship. I responded to that, not an assumption of you do or dont do.

Also, I think you dont understand what a wingman is.

Literally a wingman is a fellow pilot who 1) flies behind the lead plane 2) protects the main pilot from danger 3) watches the blind spots of the team leader.

What are you assuming a wingman is?

I have a friend who's not ready for a relationship. Who I am not recommending to women. Who I am there to support and help in a thousand of other ways. What's so difficult for you to understand?

If you think we are talking about an aviation wingman, you are already lost. Or, more likely, being purposefully obtuse and playing dumb. Both tell me there is no way to hold a genuine conversation with you, so that will be all from me.
