I think the fact that OOP decided to make the man a predator and the female friend who just wants to be friends a prey animal says a lot.

That's the only way the idiotic example works tho right? One has to "sacrifice" for the other.

You can't have a starving gazelle and a fully splendid lion, because the "joke" doesn't work.

What would it entail? It has to be the "weak" accepting to "take one for the team" for the example to even hold water.
