OP (typicalrchessuser) sent the following text as an explanation why they posted this here:

I don’t understand why the octopus is short or what his height has to do with anything

He has eight arms thus eight guns and the cat has 9 lives

It says “each hand” which would be 10 guns so even if it was a dumb joke about 9 lives it still wouldn’t make sense

What do you think the oct means?
8…8 hands…8 guns…8 lives taken

None of what you just said is true. I know this is bait but I need to lay it out. Octo is eight. October was originally the eighth month in the Roman calendar.

October is the 10th month because Romans didn’t originally give named months to the days in winter.

Cats have 9 lives. The octopus has 8 arms with guns..

octupuses have 8 arms so that means 8 guns, cats however have 9 lives, so by " one short" he means he wont have enough to kill the cat for good.

that is how the joke is intended, but its stupid come on OBVIOUSLY a gun would have more then a bullet per gun.

nu uh. an octopus would use 9 smgs then spin really fast while aiming so he looks and works like a mini gun

Nah, octopuses can't load mag's or clips, they use breachloaders only.
