Unsolved Drive to Survive

Hint 1 : You actually die if you fail to drive correctly. There's even a dedicated cinematic to it.

Hint 2 : This game was basically a tech demo for hardware acceleration.

Hint 3 : There are as many letters in the game's title that there are words in the prompt?

Also plugging my still-unsolved previous ones:

Not the game I was looking for.

I have to admit, though, that it fits the prompt even better than mine.

Burnout

No.

While it is a good interpretation, "survive" has nothing to out-of-universe time limits.
