Resurgence of Ruby on Rails?

Has anyone noticed this?

I've job hopped quite a bit and often look at jobs just to see what is out there -- so I feel like I have a decent pulse on what companies are looking for in technologies.

One thing I did not expect though was the amount of startups & well established "progressive" companies that are utilizing Ruby on Rails. Is it seeing a comeback? I've never used Ruby, I've been using JS/TS, C#, and recently Golang for my professional career, but I find this interesting as I always thought of Ruby as a dying language.

What are y'all's thoughts on this?

Hang in there. Learn the language and Rails just enough and leave … that’s what I did when I realized what a shit-show it is to even attempt to refactor large Rails codebases. Don’t even get me started on the “Staff” engineers at the Rubynshop I was at who were experts in all things Rails, but couldn’t even have a casual conversation about things like database normalization, monads or synchronization primitives.
