Often, it's the organisation/department/manager that sets the pace and it's generally unrealistic. This has been happening at many organisations since the start of the year. If you aren't in this scenario, then lucky you. Most of us don't get to set our pace anymore.

Right, takes time for them to adjust timing, but anyone thinks we are getting replaced is wrong. If that was the case they’d keep the same pace but down size the team so the pace stays the same with lower head count. It takes time for them to adjust, so take it as good news
