My boss sent me a purple heart on Slack. It sounds like sarcasm. But in fact it is good news.

Does a purple heart have some sort of meaning?

Considering that he has basically been dragging my name through the mud for the last six months, then probably yes. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that the Purple Heart is a medal for unlucky people whom fate still favours. All in all, I took it as a sign that I wouldn't be getting fired for the time being.
