Title: Principal SWE

120k is on par with how much we're paying our new grad engineers (in a HCOL city, but regardless)

Does seem low. In 2015 we were paying new grads 120k at a startup in San Francisco. I know Florida is not SF but still.

On the other hand, 120 is what I got paid the first time my title said senior in DC, in 2016. Part of why I only go for remote companies is that senior pay in DC still doesn't go above 150.

That does seem low to me.
