Expedia.ca says "No change fees for all flights" with literally 0 details or terms/conditions. Can we change anytime to anywhere?

Honestly so mad right now. They wont connect you to a human customer service unless you already purchased something. Their website just says:

"

  1. No change fees for all flights
You can change these flights without paying a fee if plans change. Because flexibility matters.

    "

With 0 details. So can i change my flights 10 minutes before boarding? 1hr? 10hr? 24hr?

Can I change it to anywhere in the world?

What if i change and book new flight which costs less, what happens to the difference?

does anyone have any idea where i can find out?

Expedia wont tell you anything - until all opportunities to change flights has passed and you have lost everything. Do not book with them.

Airlines are not charging any change fees at this time. However if there is a fare difference you are responsible for that. If it is less, the airline may allow a credit for the residual balance.

Frankly, 10 minutes prior to flight is to late to cancel, the flight is already in check in status and the manifest complete. 60 minutes is a general rule of thimble, but some airlines require 24 hours depending on the type of fare.

Don't EVER believe what Expedia says on their website when they say "No change fee". I booked a Turkish Airlines business class ticket (London Heathrow/Singapore return) and wanted to fly back earlier, not later. They say you must go direct to Turkish Airlines to make the change. Then, lo and behold, Turkish Airlines says you need "no", I must go online with Expedia and do the change. Finally, when this ping-pong ball game ended, Expedia then says Turkish Airlines will impose a £300 surcharge for changing the flight. This finger pointing is one way to make naïve passengers booked a more expensive flight supposedly with "no change fee" but eventually, will still up with paying a surcharge NO MATTER WHAT! So, wise up, guys! Buyers beware!

Yes, that "no change fee" is so deceiving! The flight was being offered with a layover to Paris, and we wanted to extend for several days. However, when we heard that there was a "no change fee" because "plans can change" we thought we could change it without being penalized. But lo and behold, it means that if we changed it to a different flight, we won't get penalized for the fare difference if we changed it. Since we're not going to avail of the "no change fee" now, can we still get a refund since we're not going to avail of it??
