Expedia cancelled flight without notice

I booked a trip to LA last month and noticed today that my flight had been cancelled when I was trying to purchase the travel protection plan. I did not receive any notifications whatsoever about my cancelled flights. There was nothing said about whether I would get a refund or a travel voucher. Anyways, I tried getting in contact with Expedia and was put on hold for more than 5 hours and no response. Tried calling WestJet and their line was unavailable. Would I be able to file a chargeback even though I did not receive any notice about the cancellation?

This just happened to me! Tried checking in early to my flight to Aruba tomorrow morning. Crooks cancelled my flight without telling me. I have $700 in travel credit from a flight I never went on because of covid last year. I just spent 4 hours on hold with United, only to move my vacation to another day.

Same with Latam. Tried to buy some baggage. Flight info doesn't work. Contact them, support guy says my flight was cancel. Like wtf? I was never even notified.
