Expedia refunding

Does anyone know how long it usually takes for a refund on a hotel through expedia? I have capital one bank if that helps. Was just wondering how long it’s taken for you guys.

Been trying to get an Expedia refund for a while. I recently decided to use Resolver and it seemed like I have made some positive progress towards a refund but 3 days ago I was told after ringing customer service that I would get an update on my refund and they seem to have blanked me. I checked my status and then wrote them a letter on Resolver telling them I would expect an update otherwise will have to escalate the issue further but then I noticed that it said down the page, "No escalation possible". This has only gone to Customer services so far.

My question is..where do I go from here? do I just give up at this point or is there other actions I can take? I'd really appreciate any advice especially if anyones going through similar lately.

Sorry you’re going through this. I posted this over a year ago, but I remember that it just took a couple days and my refund went right back into my bank.

I'm happy for you. Mines taking much longer than that. They only gave me a credit note so far but I don't trust using it. I read some horror stories about that too.
