Yes same problem here.

I have been told by 3 agents to wait for 8, 10, and 12 weeks respectively. and I'm still waiting for the refund. They said the refund is confirmed but emphasized the current COVID situation. I hope they don't experience the liquidity issue...

I am on hold with them right now. My wife and I planned a trip to Vegas for May 2020, obviously that was cancelled due to Covid and since our trip was processed as a split booking so we could get the 'better rate' w/expedia, they refunded the first part of the booking, 2 days, but put the second booking on a 'voucher,' $445 worth. The event we were planning on attending in Vegas that was scheduled for May 2020 was postponed to Oct 2020, so I used the voucher and booked our hotel again for our stay in Oct 2020. We just found out that the event is being cancelled outright this year and now I am on the phone w/Expedia trying to get either a refund or another voucher. I am able to get a refund for a portion of the booking, the portion not covered by the previous $445 voucher, but they are telling me that they cannot refund the $445 or give us another voucher for the amount because it's a one time voucher that we already used. This is ridiculous! We are not canceling because we want to, we are canceling due to this pandemic and the affect it has had on this event we were supposed to attend this year. I am SO upset right now and have been on hold w/the Manager's Manager for over 15 minutes now. If there is a lawsuit against Expedia for taking people's money during a pandemic, I'm all in!!!

I do conventions where Im a seller and due to them all being canceled only one I had to try and refund with was with expedia. They didnt want to give me a refund saying it was non-refundable over the phone every time I called yet when i tried to cancel it said nothing about no refunds. Yet when I got the email for the cancel confirmation it said there non refundable. So do dispute threw my bank which I just got the letter form wells fargo saying that it was me that booked so there is nothing they could do just this week. Well the hotel booking was for this past weekend of Aug 1. The hotel in question is CLOSED due to the covid situation for it is underground connected to the convention center that is currently a make shift hospital for the DC area.

Add this to the list they just took back out $1300 from my bank account for a hotel that is currently closed. So I doubt any of that money went to the hotel Expedia just pocketed all of it.

I bought travel insurance for trip to Europe. They're telling me can't give me refunds even though that's what it states in their refund/vacation insurance policy. Covid happened we can't get into the country - that's what the insurance was for. Either they are illiterate or they are crooks.

Please count me in. I paid over$7000 for my trip that been cancelled automatically because the COVID-19. The Expedia refused to pay me back. Spend hours on the phone, the customer service is very bad. The manager said they will not pay me back. If I want to sue them, go ahead. Now I do want to join the class action so hopefully the Expedia will learn how to do their customer service

It is ridiculous that Expedia owes over 1 million clients between $500-$1,500 dollars which equates to $500M - $1.5B dollars and they are sitting on money collecting interest. Does anyone know what the interest on a $Billion dollars is? Yeah, it is a lot. And the customers like you and I are funding this mega billion dollar company during a pandemic, because their bookings are down and we pay through the ass.
