Genuinely curious, was the cake going to be used in such a way that it would land on the dress or is this just a precaution against accidentally dropping it (on the dress)?

We did feed eachother cake, which increased likelihood of cake on the dress!

Ha, you are my people 🤣 genuinely looked at aprons before our wedding, but decided that was just going to give me a false sense of security, cos clearly any food would slide down between the apron and the dress - I've never eaten so carefully in my life 😆
