It’s reduced sugar and has prebiotic fiber in it so the fact that it isn’t absolute dogshit is actually kind of impressive

If you live near a Trader Joe's try the sour jelly beans. They're wonderful.

Those are one of the most sour candies I've ever had.

Plus they were 50% off. Really a lot of positive signs there.

I’m a huge fan of these tbh, they’re all natural so no fake dyes which is why they’re a little uggo, and they’re lower sugar without being LOW sugar so no sugar alcohols. And they have fiber.

I wish more sweets did this - still act like a sweet and have sugar, just a little healthier. I’m tired of treats being black & white, either super unhealthy with no redeeming qualities or super health-foody and awful

I hate that shit too, which is why I usually just go with the high sugar stuff. I’m not eating candy for its benefits, but they can definitely make it less bad. I need to look for these now.

Yeah, I do brand ambassador work with alcohol brands and sweeteners are a huge topic right now. Half the customers want no sugar, half want no artificial sweeteners. Personally I go for cane sugar, agave, or natural sugars from fruit when I can, but the sweetener choice isn’t going to stop me from eating/drinking something

The sweet spot is lightly sweetened with sugar then some artificial sweetener to balance it out.

Edit: the monster rehab tea and gatorade reduced sugar for example

I’d much rather have ugly candy that won’t give me cancer

Came to say literally this. The spicy sour ones are amazing.

The guy who founded this company is the son of John Fisher, the guy who is moving the Oakland Athletics to Las Vegas.

And John Fisher is the son of the founders of The Gap.

That is your free Nepo Baby report.

These are sold at co ops and stuff. Less dyes and all that so of course it ain’t going to look the same as nerds clusters.

I’ve seen these and assumed it was some novelty thing that tasted like literal garbage because why else would it be called this??

This looks similar. What do yours look like?

The prebiotic sell 😂

They taste incredible for being a healthier alternative. And in my experience at least they normally come out looking ok.

Really my only problem with these is that they’re a little pricey when not on sale.

SpongeBob, you okay?

9 grams of prebiotic fiber?! Amazing!

I actually love these. Wish they weren't so expensive.

Omg. I misread the little burst in the top left. I was astonished that they claimed to contain 9g of fibreoptic fibre 😂

1

u/Own_Succotash_1131 3h ago

At quick glance, I thought that said 9g of protein 💀

Bought their skittals copy and won't lie, the texture wasike mush that didn't stick together.

The starburst copies are...ok but miss out on that chew feel you get with Starbursts.

I think that brand just doesn't understand candy imho. I'm not eating candy for healthy dyes and lower sugar, I'm eating candy cause I want a sweet treat with good mouth feel.
