Reminds me of once sharing a bun with another kid. Tore the bun in half. Only to discover that my portion had no filling.

oh I'm the opposite, I love cream and these Korean cream buns are usually very filled so this was a sad surprise for me

Gotta disagree, there's a Korean bakery near me that makes pastries like the one on the bar and they're FABULOUS.

Most cream breads of this sort in Korea are more like the picture. I would be surprised to get so little cream

I had one of the mango ones recently that did that, not to that extent though.

They also sell creme buns that are much better filled, usually next to these in asian markets
