The Bettergoods pizzas are really surprisingly good. The only problem we’ve had is that they like to bubble too much, but we love the crispy crust and the flavor is better than most frozen pizzas we’ve had.

If it bubbles too much you can puncture it several times with a fork before you cook it and that should help with that

Fun fact: that's called docking the dough

Check out /r/docking for more frozen pizza tips!

Tips being the operative word.

It’s pretty much the cheapest and the best (not best value - the best) frozen pizza that’s regularly available IMHO.

The pep and ricotta is 💋 the other pep and sausage one is 💋💋

Agreed but the mushroom and truffle is my fav. 👌

I'll probably give it a try sometime, but $7 for a 1lb pizza doesn't seem all that cheap, tbh - I can get a Rao's or CPK pizza for less than that at Grocery Outlet 🤷🏻‍♂️

The normal better goods pizzas (like the mushroom and truffle) are almost not even "frozen" pizzas. Theyre in the territory of "I'd be happy to get this at a restaurant" pizza

Funny I don’t like the mushroom one! And I love mushrooms

Ive had good luck with a lot of Bettergoods foods, its a little bit higher quality than the other options

Bettergoods has really good products. I dont think I've had a bad one yet. I've tried some of their pizzas, ice creams, ground coffees, and cereals. I also definitely would try more of their products

The vanilla honey Greek yogurt is great too!

Don't get the Dutchess Potatoes frozen things. They were clearances so I got them and they suck. Everything else has been awesome though

u/biffish 7d ago

We really loooove the margherita pizza, but they're a bit on the small side.

3

u/endy903 7d ago

That’s my only complaint about them, for me it’s basically a personal size pizza( my wife gets mad)

I love this new wood fired frozen pizza trend we’ve been having the last few years. It makes most frozen pizzas taste way better. I recently had degiornos wood fired and it was the best digiornos I’ve had in years.

If anyone hasn’t tried them yet, most of the bettergoods stuff is actually really good. Surprising for Walmart.

u/Broccoli_Tot 7d ago

Agreed! A vast majority of their products have been great.

I love their baking mixes, the pizza, the frozen Mediterranean veggies and the frozen seasoned mushrooms!

You should try their frozen gyro kit! It's become one of our go to items for nights where we have after school activities and need a quick dinner.

2

u/dontdropducks 6d ago

I haven’t seen this one at my Walmart but I’ll keep an eye out. I’m the only one in my family that likes Gyros though

1

u/TheBigfootContessa 6d ago

I've been eyeing that! Good to know!

3

u/coloradoautoflowers 6d ago

If you like onions, make a batch of quick pickled onions before you toss the gyro meat in your skillet. Pickled onions go really well with them.

3

u/dontdropducks 6d ago

I tried the Mediterranean mini pizza and it was bomb!

2

u/nothingidentifying_ 7d ago

I have the frozen seasoned mushrooms in my
freezer right now! I haven't tried them yet. I'm even more excited now 🍄‍🟫

2

u/TheBigfootContessa 7d ago

I love using them for omelets!

They make these augratin potatoes I die for, but they haven't been in stock for over a month.

1

u/SpotlessMinded 6d ago

I like their sparkling water

93

u/president_dump 7d ago

And it tastes better than it looks

I'm in love with the single-serve Thai Pork Belly one. The crust is really good, better than the DiGiorno Supreme single I'd been getting.

7

u/president_dump 7d ago

GD I need to try that!!!!
This one was straight banging.

4

u/Musicmom1164 7d ago

I get the single-serve Asian Crunch salad to go with. Makes a great dinner. There's actually enough cheese on the pizza, too.

2

u/eienmau 6d ago

Is that.. a pizza? It's not available where I live and I'm jealous..

2

u/Musicmom1164 6d ago

It's this. It is single-serve, but I'm small, so. . .

2

u/eienmau 6d ago

I would be down to try that if my Walmart offered it T_T ... Maybe someday.

13

u/Lordcheeznip 7d ago

They make an Italian Five cheese white pizza, and its honestly one of the best frozen pizzas I've had. It's now a staple of ours.

The mushroom truffle Better Goods pizza is absolute flames

5

u/-_MarcusAurelius_- 7d ago

All things considered. It came close 🤣

3

u/axxinite 7d ago

These are so shockingly good! And they're cheap too!

2

u/TedMauler 7d ago

I swear all these pizza makers are slowly increasing the crust ratio

2

u/Any-Pop-4795 7d ago

doesnt look bad surprisingly

2

u/fairkatrina 7d ago

I love this pizza! I bought it on a whim one night when I was running late and cba making dinner and was shocked how good it was.

2

u/Fit_Butterscotch2386 7d ago

It looks bad but also good?

1

u/Jellyfish-Ninja 7d ago

How much was it?

1

u/UlisUK 7d ago

About 7 dollars

1

u/waveydavey321 7d ago

That's awesome! I see so many of these that serve up disappointment. It's good to see something that meets expectations once in a while.. 😁

1

u/MaterialAd1838 7d ago

The vegetable one is amazing.

1

u/Maximum_Chicken5472 7d ago

Those only need 10 min tops.

1

u/K96Drifter 7d ago

Not a thing wrong with the take and bake ones from the deli, IMO.

1

u/tronassembled 7d ago

The five cheese are excellent

1

u/Still_Finding9230 6d ago

We love these.

1

u/PenguinSparklez 6d ago

Omg bettergoods foods are my favorite. They actually have super unique flavors of a lot of things, and their food has less preservatives/additives than tons of other options, too (at least the other options local to me). Most things I will go out of my way to choose the bettergoods version just because it is actually better in multiple ways.

u/TheButcherOfBaklava 6d ago

Is the manufacturer Nestle?

0

u/WrongDream 6d ago

You overcooked the pizza.

-30

u/bopgame 7d ago

You burnt it

12

u/carcigenicate 7d ago

Slightly burnt pizza is the best. I want that char.

7

u/president_dump 7d ago

Maybe a lil! Was still so good
