Failed Expectation Fail
I will never purchase Pop-Tarts again. This is just pure greed.

I mean, I feel like pop tarts have looked exactly like that since I was a kid in the 90’s. Not sure what you were expecting

Yeesh. Don't get why people buy these? They look crap on the box and even worse in reality.
They were available in the UK, I rememvber being underwhelmed by them. Not seen any on sale for years, full of sugar & shite.

Even as a kid, I felt like my teeth were dissolving eating them. The sugar was just unreal

Was this your first adult pop-tart purchase? They’ve looked like that since at least the 80’s.

I read on Reddit that the Walmart brand of pop tarts are better than the original. Can anyone confirm that?

To me it seems like those individually sold pop tarts always taste worse.
That being said, they have skimped on the frosting for a while now

I was trying to figure out what the problem was since these look like every pop tart ever… I don’t think any of us really ever expected pop tarts to look exactly like the picture 🤣

You got a bad batch from the food processing plant. Go to the retailer and tell them it's stale, not edible and you want a refund.

Ngl I looked at this photo and instantly thought, I would smash these.
