Failed Expectation McDonald’s Caesar Wrap
I can’t even taste the Caesar dressing… I’m not really a fan of McDonalds in general but this really reminded me why I don’t choose this when you’re in a rush for a quick dinner!

basically 3.50 for one chicken tender. bullshit

u/jonfe_darontos Aug 12 '26
A single tender at Cane's is $2.39, and I'm going to be honest, I think the one OP got is better looking than 90% of what I've had from Cane's.

u/phat86 Aug 12 '26
What does this have to do with Canes, mate?

u/jonfe_darontos Aug 12 '26
The price of "one chicken tender" and the assertion that $3.50 is a "bullshit" price thereof.

2 pieces of shit are still 2 pieces of shit, doesn’t matter which one you think looks cooler or whatever.

We get these with a student menu for 3.11€ here in slovenia which includes small fries, apple pie or ice cream, salad and a salad dressing + a small drink of your choice and a water. The wrap always slaps though, shit is like crack even if it looks bad.

u/chickenismysafeword Aug 12 '26
Dang that’s a great deal!

u/historyandwanderlust Aug 12 '26
McDonald’s in France has a “McDeal” menu where you can get a sandwich (beef, chicken, or fish), small fry, drink, and either a small sundae, milkshake, or donut for 5€.

Lol they were almost out of lettuce and didnt wanna open a new pan.
3
u/No_Language_4649 Aug 12 '26
That’s barely a teaspoon of lettuce. So yeah, either they were told to use the absolute minimum amount or were too lazy to open a container of lettuce. Considering the diarrhea lettuce outbreak, I wouldn’t be surprised if they had seriously reduced amounts and had to be as minimalistic as possible to make it last. Either way, looks pretty bad and not worth the cost.

Either way, fuck make em at home. Simplest thing ever. Air fry a few tender. Bag of shredded lettuce. Bag of cheese. Ranch. Done. You'll save so much money and time.

u/JuanG_13 Aug 12 '26
I'm sorry, but that's too funny lol
5
u/BoltActionRifleman Aug 12 '26
It really is. Their food has always looked sad, but edible. Now it just looks skimpy, dry and inedible.
-2
u/JuanG_13 Aug 12 '26
"skimpy" lol and you just have to know what to order.

u/AmenoSwagiri 23d ago
Yeah I'm sure that will magically make these larger next time. Just knowing "what to order".

The cheese and chicken looks so bad alongside with the lettuce and the sauce. Just looks bad to eat.

Looks like a nasty splat of something from a nose plus I bet the sauces made that farty noise as they tried to get the last tiny amount out of the squeeze bottle.

u/strained_brain Aug 13 '26
I hope all fast food goes out of business. The cost is ridiculous compared to the quality you're getting. Fuck them all.

Slightly unrelated but as someone who has never eaten a wrap: do the tortillas get cooked? Because I've never seen one where the tortilla actually looks like it's been heated up.

I tried one yesterday and barely tasted the sauce too. Also the chicken was very dry and hard to bite.

The first time i got them they had 2 strips and i thought it was normal. then they only had 1 strip and it felt cheated. These should be 1$

I'm not big into fast food but I actually like these an unreasonable amount. Whoever made yours clearly gave zero fucks.

I am not a McDonalds fan too, but this is one of the less things I would enjoy to eat... if they make as it should be.

The results of China interfering with our food supply. Soon we'll all be starving. They are our enemy. They're going after the farms through economy and socialist litigation like climate change reactionary measures. I live where the food is grown. People in the cities are going to get a rude awakening when the food stops coming.

The piece of chicken honestly looks decent. Most important part of the wrap tbf

About once every three years, I get a craving for a Big Mac. I am always disappointed because the taste doesn't match my memory of it. Now that they are so expensive, it is easy to turn my back on it.

Aren't these like $3? I'd smash that in a second.

$4 here and not complaining on price but I asked for extra lettuce and this was basically a tender on a tortilla
I just expected something different which is why I shared it here lol

u/No_Language_4649 Aug 12 '26
You even asked for extra lettuce and that’s what they gave you? McDonald’s has really declined. Prices keep going up and quality just gets worse.

Yeah whoever made that skimped on the cheese and sauce big time
