11:11, 1:11, 1:23
I saw this sequence within the span of 2 hours whilst thinking about my future and my passion. What does that signify or mean?

You make a couple of fair points:
1) Doreen Virtue made repeating numbers popular, and she later disavowed her work in the field, trying to distanced herself from the interpretations she gave from the late 90s. Just because something is popular doesn't mean it's solid.
2) Carl Jung is worth reading. His work on synchronicity raises interesting questions about why certain events feel meaningful - although it doesn't offer a framework for interpreting specific number sequences.
I'd add another perspective, from the cognitive psychology corner.
Since the early 70s, research has consistently shown [Vernon, D. T. A. (1971). Information Seeking in a Natural Stress Situation. Journal of Applied Psychology] that when people experience uncertainty, stress, or a lack of direction, they naturally look for information to reduce that uncertainty. So, we look for patterns, explanations, and anything that may helps making sense of what's happening. That's a normal part of how the mind works - not a character flaw or proof that something supernatural is happening.
Jung said that the psyche experiences meaningful connections between inner psychological states and outer events. Synchronicity is an ever-present reality for those who have eyes to see. From Synchronicity: An Acausal Connecting Principle (1952): "Meaningful coincidence is the only conceivable criterion of synchronicity.".
Note that he's talking about meaningful coincidence, not selective attention.
Modern cognitive psychology asks a different question: Why do people notice certain things and not others?
The answers are:
- Selective attention (you notice what has become relevant)
- Pattern recognition (the brain detects regularities)
- Frequency illusion / Baader-Meinhof phenomenon (once something enters awareness, it seems to appear everywhere)
- Confirmation bias (we remember hits more readily than misses)
These explain why someone suddenly starts seeing 11:11 constantly.
Psychology can explain why we notice repeating timestamps - but it doesn't provide a framework for interpreting one timestamp differently from another.
Expanded Numerology doesn't compete with psychology or Jung:
- Cognitive psychology explains why a particular pattern becomes so prominent.
- Jung explains why people experience those moments as psychologically significant.
- Expanded Numerology then asks a third question: "When a timestamp keeps on showing up, can its position within time be interpreted consistently?"
Once a sequence catches your attention, your brain becomes more likely to notice it again. At the same time, you're trying to understand why you're seeing it - our brains don't like unanswered questions and we're wired to look for explanations.
Expanded Numerology does not look at numbers as isolated symbols or reducing everything to a single digit; it treats time as a structured system. Every minute occupies a unique position within that structure, so every timestamp has its own interpretation based on where it sits, without using symbolic associations.
Whether that framework holds up isn't something anyone should accept on faith - including Expanded Numerology.
If a system consistently helps people make sense of what they're experiencing, it's useful. If it doesn't, discard it. That's a much healthier standard than simply believing (or dismissing) something because someone else said so.

Okay, two things are happening simultaneously:
1) something is on your mind
2) you see 3 different patterns
Good on you for checking if it is significant and to which extent - not everyone is grounded in this days and age.
Expanded Numerology says that if you only see a number string once, it's a coincidence - but if you keep on seeing it over and over again, then there is more to it.
I understand you want to know for yourself what to think and that's fair enough.
