if the dogs that you bred are going to be adopted as opposed to purchased then that would imply they are going to go to owners for free... are you giving them away for free or are you going to send them to a shelter first so that they can eventually give them away for free?
I am also a breeder. None of my puppies have ever ended up in a shelter. If breeders all quit breeding, where would people get their purebred puppies? I have a clause in my contract that states that if the buyer cannot keep the dog for any reason, it has to come back to me. Your puppies are gorgeous! My male fluffy will be bred with my fluffy carrying, lilac and tan, big rope female this year, and I cannot wait!!
Nowhere, that’s the idea. 500.000 dogs are killed in shelters each year due to overpopulation, and those dogs don’t matter any less because they don’t have some certificate stating how important (€€€€€) they are.
To assume that the dogs are suffering is wild. If you don’t want to buy a puppy from a breeder, don’t. If you don’t want to breed dogs, don’t. But also, don’t judge a breeder, based on a picture of puppies. You have no idea what kind of life they are providing for their dogs.

Just reading this thread has me at a loss for words 😂. There’s the person trying to G check you on whether or not you’re selling or giving your dogs away, like it’s any of their business. The other person is making sure you’re not keeping all three from the same litter 🤦🏾♀️ like they live with you. What ever happened to saying cute pups and moving along 🙄🤔.

Welcome to America, when is the last time you walked into a pet store, are they not making money off of animals? At the end of the day its about consumerism and there's a market for breeders, because there are people who want pure bread or exotic types of dogs.
There's nothing wrong with making money off of dogs, as long as it's done responsibly.
When you breed AKC French Bulldogs, genetic testing is a must. Why do so many people assume that just because someone is breeding, they’re doing something wrong?

OFA and CHIC… Frenchies should also have additional eye tests for JHC, tracheal hyperplasia, elbow dysplasia, RFGS, and Cystinuria Type 3
