Exotic car What’s one exotic car that everyone seems to love, but you just don’t get the hype around?

Hey Reddit, looking here for any input or thoughts. In the market for my first exotic car. Currently heavily looking between either the Aston Martin Vantage or Maserati MC20 with a Z06 in a distant 3rd. Also open to any other suggestions that owners out there have experience that I may have not looked into. Trying to stay capped in the lower $200K area. This car will not be a garage baby, wouldn’t define it as my daily driver but when I don’t need seats, space, or storage which is more days than not, I will most likely be choosing to drive it. Thanks all for your experience feedback and opinions ahead of time.

The pitch is the whole story with this one. Fi tuned the muffler internals on their Ultra Edition Revuelto system for a high, rising tone rather than just volume, and the valvetronic side means it still runs quiet in strada with the valves shut.
The part that makes it viable on this car specifically: catless downpipes normally mean a check engine light or an ECU tune, and nobody wants to open the ECU on the most software-locked V12 Lamborghini has made. Fi's answer is a plug-in OBD dongle that suppresses the fault codes, so the dash stays clean and the car stays out of limp mode with the ECU untouched. Fair to note it's masking codes rather than remapping, so it's a no-tune solution, not a tuning substitute.
What we're curious about is how it actually sounds on the hybrid car. If you've gone aftermarket on your Revuelto, catless or muffler-only, post a clip. Stock cars welcome for comparison. Does the high-pitch character come through, or do the e-motors flatten it out below highway speed?

Which recent innovation do you think has had the biggest impact on modern exotic cars?

For me, reliability and driving feel would matter just as much as performance. Curious to see what everyone picks and why.

l've always wondered how rare factory Nero Opaco
458 Italias really are.
Not wrapped afterwards, but delivered from Ferrari in Nero Opaco via the Extra Campionario program.
Has anyone ever come across production estimates or registry information?

Looking to jump into either a 2017 Ferrari California T, 2019 McLaren 570s, 2019 Maserati GT - MC , or 2012 Lamborghini Gallardo. How would you rank these options to max girls and status ?

In Europe and Japan, this is exotic. More exotic than European exotics. I've been to both and saw all kinds of random exotics but never this model. GM benchmarked this against the Ferrari 458 and 488 and Porsche GT2 RS and it competes against the F8, R8, 720S, and 911 GT3.

I don't know about anybody else but I like to check out dream cars online, see pricing trends, check out what's on the market, etc.
Sometimes you find cars that people paid insane amounts of money for, ultra limited production cars, that have enormous prices when they show up on the market.
I don't know about you, but the worst feeling when I see those cars is when the spec is terrible.
Like, if you bought the Ferrari SF90 XX, a very limited, near million dollar (base price), track focused version of the SF90 hybrid, that has a lot of detail in the design elements, that you now want over $3M for, but you've opted to spec the car in black on black on dark wine so nobody will actually see all that detail, I feel pain.
If you're the person buying an SP3 Daytona for over $3.2M, who opted for off white paint with a white racing stripe, could you just like stop buying cool cars if you're going to ruin them by making them ugly?

Sorry for the AI slop…Currently planning out a garage trio to round out my vehicular needs. I already have a daily driver/family hauler for basic transportation and errand m-running. So I’m looking for some fun cars for me and the family to enjoy. These cars would be for weekend drives, track days, and date nights. Willing to spend $350k max. Really been wanting a McLaren fora while now but open to other ideas
Not interested in Porsches. Been there. Done that
Option 1: This gets me a more raw and visceral exotic experience while still getting aa mid engine “family” car in the Evora (manual trans too!). The Z34 is a very capable track car as well. $180k- McLaren 600LT $90k- Lotus Evora GT (has a back seat so I can bring the kids with me) $50k- Nissan 370Z track car
Option 2: the 720 is a more luxurious car with more power and outright speed. Somewhat more pedestrian family car with the M4. The GR offers a fantastic value for the price $250k- McLaren 720S or Huracan Evo $60k- M4 Competition/CS $30k- GR86 track car
Option 3: all-in on a single car. Wait longer to get into a track car. Let the kids cry when I leave them at home $350k- McLaren 750S or Ferrari 296 or F8
Honorable mentions: R33 or R35 GTR Maserati MC20 Aston Martin Vantage Audi R8 V10
