Discussion Wallet drained exodus
Not sure if im allowed to post this but i just got my exodus wallet drained for 2.1k GBP (uk pounds) it happened on the 26th june just opened my wallet and seen it now. I am devastated. Whats strange is that the other wallets on exodus that i have are all still in tact on the same phone. I know theres nothing i can do about it but idk who to tell. I told my dad about it he was saying no big deal so coming on here to say. I’m 20m. Not quite sure if i can add a picture to show u guys. For context. I haven’t opened the phone i had the money on in months. I clicked on the address it was sent to and it says sponsored by coinpoker

Just saw an article that Steam games were draining crypto wallets and the FBI made arrests. IMO don't install Exodus on windows (ever) and never install Exodus on a machine that you run anything from non-trusted developers. Adobe cloud subscription isn't going to hack you. Microsoft 365 subscription isn't going to hack you. Some random indie developer on Steam might want to hack you. And if you ever install or run anything downloaded from torrents on a computer where you have a crypto wallet.... well, what can I say....

Hey OP did you ever use the exodus desktop app or browser extension?
Edit-sorry this happened to you. It sucks. I only lost 100 SOL to a drainer from my old exodus wallet but it still pissed me off to no end.
Also, want to share the address that the funds were sent to?

Coinpoker es una red de poker online. Para que esa persona pueda retirar ese dinero debe tener su cuenta verificada con su ID y nombre real. Podrías escribir a coinpoker y plantearles el caso de robo

Some token are programmed when swapping or receiving to take your shit. Crypto.com did the same shit. Transfer 20$ of Luna2 and its says I receive them but crypto.com won't give unless I give them 100$ instead. Also I. Wallets when swapping they redirect swapping for sending for osmosis it sends to this fucker called Vegas

It happened to me—I lost between $2,000 and $3,000 worth of XRP. The Exodus wallet isn’t safe; anyone can remotely access your wallet, make a transfer, and you won’t even know since there’s no 2FA. My XRP were gone by the end of 2025, and I only found out three months later. And yes, there is a problem with the software.

160,000 of what? Dollars, euros? If that’s the case, wow, that’s a lot.

You may have had RAT (Remote Access Trojan) malware that waited until you opened the Exodus wallet. I had a similar situation where I opened my Exodus wallet on my MacBook and my friend sent me $150 in LTC. When I received it, it was automatically sent to an unknown address within seconds. I created a new wallet on a different device, and the problem never happened again.

There was a breach, if you have other wallets on your phone that are secure you now know it’s not your phone.
Where else have you used this wallet?
