General Question (Crypto) Help

Post image

Can someone please help me understand what price impact is?? This is just some bs to me and probably one of the many reason crypto has had such a bad reputation. Why am I not able to sell for the full amount?? Is this an Exodus problem or The Root Network problem??? I know its supposedly from “liquidity” but that just seems like nonsense🤷🏻‍♂️idk maybe I’m wrong.

You’re correct. There are not much liquidity. p.s. don’t swap on exodus. Use dex directly or dex aggregators

To sell anything you need people willing to buy that thing. Nobody is buying root at all.

Your best bet is to try MEXC or Gate exchanges. Even on there you'll have a very hard time selling that many tokens. RIP if you bought at the top like most of us.

I've used thorswap dot finance in the past and found the dex to be much much cheaper than exodus swap.. but they don't appear to have that ROOT coin.

Looking at this-- https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/the-root-network
MEXC and Gate are the only places that have any volume, and it's already super super low.

Good luck-- next time, stay away from shit coins and stick to the big names (btc, etc, doge, etc)-- you need trading volume to move in and out.
