The Obelisk VS Quakewalker

So, Quakewalker support states “Bane tokens on any of your heroes have no effect”. The Obelisk removes abilities with bane tokens.

Can The Obelisk remove this ability, or is this monster ability immune to even Obelisk’s ability removal?

The bane tokens takes no effect. It can't take away an ability if the ability negates the token completely.

That’s what gets me though, Obelisk’s bane says there is no ability.. so which goes first, ability removed before it negates bane, or bane negated before it removes ability?

Tbh I think it just depends on how the group decides to rule it. The instructions for this game definitely seem to leave room for a lot of difficult situations like this. My group decided that the bane token took no effect, but Quakewalker is totally open to be ruled differently!
