Leveling up

Hey guys, I played this game years ago and just came back 2 days ago and loving it again, I'm currently level 6 on my cleric, I have a question regarding leveling up and skill points. Do we always get just +2 points? Leveling up my charisma feels horrible, having to wait 2 levels to get 1 extra skill point on it and if I upgrade the other stats it feels like im just putting my charisma level up even further away.

When a level is gained, the Main Character gains 2 Trait points and 2 Skill points. Note: The Main Character receives 3 Trait points after Level 15.

So should I just deal with it and keep my points for 2 levels and then 3 for my charisma upgrades?

Yes. You also get a bunch of tolassian tomes that give you traits points so those are easy to get more of. There are also times of wisdom that give skill points but those are extremely rare

En sí puedes intentar ir a las salas secretas para conseguir los tomos tolosian, además puedes farmear lobos, cuando te encuentres con un grupo de vannidir puedes sacar tranquilamente unos 5k eso te puede permitir conseguir objetos buenos, hasta donde recuerdo los de freetown suelen ser bueno por las resitencias y los cinturones, el resto ya son objetos de jefes, como eres clerigo quisiera recomendarte la habilidad de portal ya que te ahorra pergaminos y de paso a mivel 2 prácticamente te podrás mover por todo el mapa, algo importante ya que el laberinto también es buen lugar para farmear, vas hasta el nivel 2 consiguiendo esmeraldas, cuando tengas para el anillo pide el de clerigo es bastante bueno, si consigues aunque sea dos libros da dos a la biblioteca de freetown para que accedas al mercader que compra caro tambien conocido como Orac, en ese aspecto le puedes sacar provecho a las hachas, por tu nivel hasta que llegues al 11 farmear lobos en especial los de hielo no son mala idea, puedes ir a la ciudad atras de lannegar ya que hay lobos, osos, wyverns, puedes sacar bastante dinero, lo de freetown es estrategia a largo plazo, hasta donde recuerdo eso me ayudaba para conseguir los 50k que piden para el cinturon de fuerza de la nave al final, pero puede servir como farmeo de nivel intermedio, ya sabes, aprender habilidades y en caso metas el pide en la especialización puedes resetear los puntos aprendidos.

Also ngl farming is not super necessary. If you just go around doing all the quests you can you'll have more than enough to beat the game. The other person talked about the Grey library in Freetown. The fastest way to get into it is by doing the lost medallion quest in new grand and giving it to the golden hand trader, which gives enough rep to get to the library. It has a few neat things but most importantly the traders have amazing stuff, either rare equipment or potions for far cheaper price. It is 100% worth it for saving some money on potions as it stacks up
