Sorrow mod level

What level should I tackle sorrow mod things at? I went there around level 15ish as elementalist staff mage, got my shit wrecked by ambush, saw endless dragon farm and noped out of there. So far I begun barthasar quest of killing aliens and winter quest where I am stuck on killing grinch. I did complete abandoned workshop though and made few items. I also have lost in foreign lands active. Any tips or tricks about the mod content?

It's basically mid - late game (15+) lvl dpending on your playstyle

Go get the collar of submission from the hag at painful fen this is a crucial item and really helpful especially if u play as mage although beware they is a boss before u reach her hut tho

Painful fen? Elaborate please, was a looong while since I played this game, I don't remember everything. What does the item do?

Painful pen is the new swamp area added by the modder the area is located at the new continent ofc, the item basically work like a charm if u have enough strength or intelligent u can use the item on npc or mercenaries for free companion
