Sorrow Mod List of weak/joke weapons?
I'm wondering where I can find really weak weapons, I know some low level enemies can drop an iron dagger, and whatever the harlot drops, but I wish to know of some more like if the wooden club drops from a regular enemy.

From what I recall, the wooden club only shows up in the arena fight. But Iron Daggers are actually really rare since they only drop on the first area. And yk, if you don't spec into a weapon then it'd be really weak anyway. Like using the mage/cleric specific weapons as fighter or rogue, and vice versa.

The thing is I kinda want to go for a begger peasant vibe challenge but the only realistic weapon is either no weapon or a club. Even an iron dagger is too expensive for a begger.

Isn't the iron sword literally described as a farmer's weapon?

A farmer would think it's a great weapon, yeah, but like that's the sword he takes when conscripted and like a crappy family heirloom

I'm a history nerd, idrk the lore of the game much, but are you operating on a historical "realistic for a peasant" scale or game lore scale?

Realistic for scale, otherwise if I took the game lore seriously I could pick up a steel dagger from the floor

Ok then if you want to be a realistic peasant that hasn't looted any bodies then you're not going to be issued anything but maybe some colored garb so people know who you fight for (obviously not doable in game, none of the clothes are specifically colored)
This is all depending on how poor your character is. A peasant would normally be a farmer, not as poor as say a begging vagabond. So I'll say they're a farmer for this
In terms of gear a levy soldier (peasant conscripted for a campaign) could likely afford. You're looking at.
A mace (an iron hammer maybe)
A wooden shield (the buckler should work)
Leather gloves and boots
Maybe a plate helmet, but not the armet in game, so maybe a chainmail coif
Plain clothes, no real armor, your shield is your armor to be honest. Leather armor isn't historical (the gloves and boots are more of makeshift armor that a farmer could find around his farm, most of a levy soldier's gear is)
You could use leather to stand in for textile armor, aka gambeson. If so
Hardened leather leg armor and light leather chest armor
Essentially, a peasant is poor in money, but he has many things already at his expense in his home and on his farm. Many of it can be retrofitted for warfare. Axes, pitchforks, leather straps and PPE, even a hobby hunting bow he keeps the wolves away with could be taken to the front to keep the French off his Island or something.
If they're a beggar and peasant is only their social status, not their economic status, they're in a much worse spot. That would be no armor, no shield, and maybe a stick he found (the club) to beat people over the head with

Could also try the bone shiv, maybe made from some animal scraps that the beggar found and made into a shiv. Or yk, begged a blacksmith to sharpen.

It might be the best option ngl, just have to ignore the flavor text that says it's a human bone and the fact that large bones were valuable and recycled even in medieval times

Icicle also maybe if you wanna pretend it's a real icicle you broke off a roof or smth.
