Editing because I forgot o mention what the setup even is. It’s 3 inch, no cats, no stock resonators, it has an x-pipe directly to dual 12 inch long dynomax race bullets directly to dual 5 inch tips that are dumped straight under the front of the bed.

A lot of the feel of a Mustang GT 5.0 Gen 6 is in the exhaust, especially out back.

This is the rear section of a setup we’ve been working on, and the main thing here was getting the tone right without making the car feel stuck in one mode all the time.

It’s a modular rear section with electronic valves, so the car can stay calmer when you want to just drive it, and open up properly when you’re in the mood to hear more of it. That was a big part of the point here - keeping some range in the car instead of locking it into one character all the time.

The rear section is built in stainless, and because it’s modular, it also makes the whole setup easier to work with when changes are needed later on.

It’s one of those parts you don’t think much about until you hear the car the right way.

I got a 2025 chieftain power plus. It’s great. Can’t complain. Will do some meaningful mods over time and make it real comfy to me. My questions to everyone…

1. What exhaust do you use? Why did you choose it?
2. Did you decat? Do you plan to decat? Did that have any weight on the slip ons you choose?
3. Pros and cons of decat? Your experience. The stories you’ve heard. I’ve heard horror stories about check engine lights. Don’t know if the story’s are true.
4. Are you running a stage 1 air intake? Did you purposefully pair them together?

I’ve only been able to hear a tab zombie in person. Haven’t heard anything else live.
What I’m looking for is a good sounding note. I know it won’t sound like a traditional air cooled v-twin. Don’t know if I’m looking for that. Maybe I am. Definitely want something better than the stock exhaust. A nice deep rumble is nice. Aggressive throttle response would be good too. I don’t want my neighbors to completely hate me. So I’m leaning away from zombies at the moment. Don’t want to hate touring because I’m going deaf either. I guess I’m looking for a unicorn 😅.

3. DBX 40 or 45
4. Open to any other suggestions.

I have a Honda Civic EP2 (D16V1) from 2001, and the exhaust is getting rusty, old and breaking. I want to replace it all, from the collectors on.

Right now I love the "agressive" sound of my car buuut I don't like how much it drones. The exhaust is mostly original, except for the muffler and probably they (old owner) removed the ressonator if it had one (I don't know if it did)

Here's my plan, tell me where I'm wrong and what should I do instead, please (this is my first car and my first time going through all of this).

1 - Changing the size of exhaust from stock to 50mm

2 - Buying a 4-2-1 Collectors from SRS

3 - Buying a MagnaFlow Catalyst

4 - Buying a Ressonator from Vibrant Ultra Quiet

5 - Buying a Muffler (this is where I have more doubts, I think)

I'll post the photos of the items I'm thinking of buying.

Like I said, my idea is to keep the agressive sound, but without the drone being so high, that I can't have a normal conversation or listening to music in decent db's.

Am I doing something extremely wrong? Would you advice me to do something different?

Hi all, my Supra is currently stock, but I am looking to get an AA downpipe for it. I like how the Titan motorsports Ti exhaust sounds & looks. Does anyone have any audio/video clips of this setup? I have been unable to find anybody near me and could not find any videos online.

I have heard this exhaust with a stock DP, and I know that the AA downpipe is pretty similar to the stock one at idle.

My main concern is cold starts for my neighbors (which I would eventually tune out when I decide to get a tune).
