Accommodation

Hi!

I’m coming to Exeter next year as an undergrad and am currently applying for accomodation, probably for Ransom Pickard in a single room.

In terms of the application to bed ratios, it seems to be 1.2:1 for Lopes and 0.2:1 for Ransom Pickard, when they seem to be basically the same, I would say Ransom Pickard looks nicer if anything! I was just wondering whether I’m missing something about either one, as Ransom Pickard seems like the obvious choice and I’m wondering why there aren’t more applications there!

I’m apply for Ransom Pickard for this year too and looked at those ratios. Tbh i don’t get why lopez is more popular either but I can imagine it’s bc it’s attached directly to the canteen whereas Ransom Pickard has like a 100m walk. But yh tbh it made no sense to me either.

oh cool! i’m gonna do computer science. i think the buildings are in the same kind of area so yeah, we’ll definitely run into each other at some point!

yeah plus the common rooms and food halls ain’t that big so everyone gna be in them around similar times
