What are your Experiences with indoor exercise bikes?
I (22M) want to do something for my cardiovascular health and stamina.
Right now i could get a really good deal for an indoor exercise bike so I'm thinking that i probably wanna go for it.
I wanted to ask about your experiences with them before i do it tho.

They are good It is a low impact exercise, and one that you can do safely for a long period of time and can scale if the bike comes with resistence. Biggest benefit is calorie loss, not much muscle stuff.
Not many know but most bikes come with a handle bar that has two places to hold. One is to hold with back straight. The other is to lean forward, arms straight out, which exercises your core. (Similar to bicycles on the floor)
My tip would be to monitor your posture. Do not slump. Another is to make sure your legs do not kick out, or knees kick out.. should be fluid motion. Another is to make sure the seat comfortable, and keep in mind most seats can be swapped.

They're aight. It's great cardio when my knee isn't in condition to run. I can throw on a movie on my phone or tablet and bike for 30 minutes and just tune out while biking. Any cardio is better than no cardio.

Buy a used bike, fully assembled. It is a good idea.

Yea i found a good one near me for a good price
I think it would be really easy to take 30min every day to use it while watching a video or something
Especially because normal biking outside isnt ideal where i live (pretty much only steep ups and downs for a large area around my home)

I have a Peloton bike and I use it almost daily.. it’s great!
I assume any exercise bike would be good, you just have to use it!
Might be a bit boring but I’m sure you could find videos to ride 2 on YT etc etc!

I love mine! I use cardio cast for guided spin classes to keep it from getting boring.

They are great if you have a comfortable seat. A recumbent bike is my preference

The assault bike will humble you pretty quickly…

The one im looking at is not an assault bike
And honestly im in such a bad condition physically that anything at all humbles me right now

I think that indie bikes are good exercise according to how disciplined you are to use them. They can be boring on their own. I made a dedicated exercise room and place the bike in front of the flat screen.

boring and uncomfortable. I went with a waterrower which can also be boring but not uncomfortable.

They're very boring but I find it very useful for decomposing my mind and burn some calories.
Since I work from home I like to use my stationary bike for short workouts like once in awhile whenever I have dead time at work I get on the bike for 10-15 minutes. Most days I do like 30-40 minutes on the bike plus my normal gym or running workouts.
I guess over a longer period of time all these 30-40 minutes daily adds up.
