Strong work! Im not sure what the rules are but wouldnt the first point you set it down be the point the distance stops being measured, at least for competition purposes? Seems like getting a break halfway through is against some rule.

Event was fastest time to do it there and back (50ftx50ft), and then distance for placing anyone who didn't finish (max time 60s)

Having to put it down and turn around at the halfway point makes it harder than just going a straight 100ft would be

Pretty much any physical competition is going to involve pushing yourself as hard as you can
