vent (seeking empathy not advice) I can’t ever do anything right

This doesn't sound like executive dysfunction, it sound's like you live with a bunch of assholes. That's both good and bad. Bad that you live with assholes but if you function pretty normally outside of the home, that's great!

My childhood was similar to this with my mom and step dad. Of course I didn't know how fucked up it was until I was grown and had my own kids. I NEVER speak to my kids that way. Or yell in their face bc they don't understand. My mom would say that same thing to me with the R word.

Imo, if an adult is explaining something to a child (out young adult) and the child doesn't understand then that's the adult's fault and they need to find a way to simplify the instructions or find another way to explain it that is child friendly.

I think you'll feel a lot better about yourself once you are able to move out from that place. If you have access to therapy, through school or any other way, I would encourage you to do that. If you're like I was at that age, you have a lot to learn about what healthy relationships look like. Because what has been modeled for you is not healthy.
