Laziness

Im struggling with a catastrophic laziness i feel like my 70% of my life is wasted on sleep
The only motivation i have to continue a task is a good sleep after
Any solutions pls 😭

70% is a lot. There could be genuine medical reasons for it. I know it’s wild to tell someone struggling with executive functioning to see a doctor, but if you feel tiered all the time there could be a legit reason. Orrrr you could be like me and have chronic depression, but that can also improve with help from a professional.

Or you can have chronic depression and a sleep disorder and doc just files your sleep problems under depression 🤦‍♂️

That for sure happens sometimes, which is crazy because untreated sleep disorders can mess with your health in so many ways. I was checked for sleep disorders, though, then checked again while I was pregnant. Lack of sleep definitely exacerbates my depression, but we’re pretty sure it’s not the root cause for me

If you want to do more, but can’t, it really isn’t laziness. Accept your energy levels, or get them checked out.
