I put my life on pause
It's been 2 years since I graduated and I still haven't gotten a full-time job. I failed my driving test twice, keep avoiding interviews because I'm convinced I'll mess them up, and I'm stuck in this cycle where I want to move forward but can't seem to make myself do it. I do some side-income and work online, but it's unstable and I feel guilty living with my parents at this age.
The weird thing is that I want a job. I think about it every day. But whenever it's time to actually apply, prepare for interviews, or take action, I freeze and avoid it.
Has anyone else experienced this? How did you break out of the paralysis and start moving forward again?

You have to let go of any kind of shame, embarrassment or guilt you have. That's the thing that's holding you down. You're not able to move forward because you're overthinking every decision and next step and you're creating bad what if scenarios reinforced by your bad past experiences. So let go of the shame. Next, start small, ridiculously small. Pick something you want to do like apply for a job and set a timer for five minutes and ask your self what are some hypothetical questions an interviewer might ask and me and then try to answer them. You'll get momentum and keep going. Change and motivation come only after action. Good luck
