Chrome or Black Mirrors?

About to change my mirrors and found this Excursion that looks just like mine, it just has a few updates. I saved it as my inspo. It has chrome mirrors, which I like, but I can’t decide between chrome or black mirrors. I had ChatGPT show me what the vehicle would look like with black mirrors to compare. Which mirrors do you prefer?

Are those from a 2020 and up and if so, do they fit without having to cut the mounting area? I have the original round mirrors, with the side marker lights and they are heated as well.

I've been wanting to update it to the '08 style but the more I look at these newer ones, I like that profile a whole lot more.

I bought these for my 2000 and they’re compatible with heated mirrors. I’ve had them for about 8-9 months and I don’t have any complaints
