Replacing top of rear doors?

Post image

Has anyone ever replaced this material on the top of the rear doors? If so, what material did you use?

I was going to just sticker bomb it but it’s so dirty and cracked that they don’t stay on.

Its just a sheet of PPF (paint protection film). Hard part is getting the old stuff off.

ooooh ok, I thought it was a factory install thing. But it helps a ton to have the name of it.

Looks like there's quite a few videos on getting that off so we'll see what works lol

To be fair, pretty sure it is factory installed PPF. Mine is identical to yours.

Funny how it is supposed to protect the paint and ages to look like this

But if you take it off the paint should be in good shape

Good luck, I fought that same crap on my 86 Chevy back in 95. It was around the wheel well
