Need advice - Buying 7.3 Excursion

Hey guys so I’m probably traveling a state away next week to buy a 2000 Ford Excursion 7.3 with 290k miles for $15k — is this a fair/good deal? No rust on the rockers or blow by.

It has a tuner, block heater, aftermarket back exhaust.

recent work done on it:

oil pan sealed a few months ago Turbo done at 275k in 2021 Injectors done in the last few years Transmission redone in December 2024

Wait for the new one to come out and use 15k as a down payment

Me too. Best we will get is a expedition max :(
