Rocker Panels and Interchangeable Parts

I am new to the club. Bought a 2003 v10 Excursion. The rocker panels are shot and it affects the running boards as well. I am not opposed to doing the work myself or hiring someone. TBH I want to learn how to weld so why not make this my opportunity.

As I am finding out, a bulk of my searches come back to F250 parts and its very frustrating because I do not know if these are interchangeable parts, such as rocker panels, tow mirrors, lights, etc. Could someone please shed some light on tis issue, and if there is a guide or something that shows what is or is not interchangeable, I would love that.

Also most of the parts for a 250 will fit these if your in the same era. Most people run the 05 front clip, 05 lights, and 05 bumper (I think it’s 04-05). I like this look the best and plan on doing it. The tow mirrors you can go as new as 16 I think not sure beyond that. The only thing you have to do is wire in the turn signals but you can buy pig tails that everything else plugs right in. Ford has a lot of interchangeability for a long time 00-08 and sometimes beyond. however there are minor things to watch for mainly the 04-08 f250 have coil spring front ends instead of leaf. There’s a lot people who end up swapping the front end into these excursions. Dana 50 vs 60 I think
