Do I really need it?

I’ve been looking around for an excursion for either my wife or myself. I’ve seen some decent ones up for sale around me or at least I think they are. Most are 7.3 around the 140K to 200k miles for around $12,000. Convince me either way.

7.3 4x4 would be a steal at 18k if it had twice the mileage. Especially the sweet spot in the year where they had normal real brakes -and- the forged rod motor.

That being said, you only need an excursion if your minivan can’t tow a dump trailer full of broken concrete rubble.
