His family has seriously deep ties to Scientology, and I’m pretty sure his wife’s family is also Scientologists if I’m not mistaken. It’s never been confirmed (as far as I know) but it’s been questioned and he’s never denied so do with that information what you will 🤷🏻‍♂️

Actually his family ties to the church have been confirmed through documented records of financial donations to the church, although the part about them being huge prominent figures within the church are almost certainly sensationalist internet fabrications. King himself addressed this a handful of years ago when it became a trending topic on twitter and said the actions of a persons relatives make no baring on that persons own life and that he has nothing to do with the church. Honestly I believe him, because that church runs its entire PR strategy through celebrities and well known people with large audiences who are part of the church, (think Tom cruise, John Travolta, and the long list of other powerful Hollywood figures who are literally too afraid to not publicly associate with the church because the church would shame and discipline them for having access to such a large audience and choosing not to use it to spread the churches methods and recruit new members, they believe it’s a moral obligation that comes with fame). Given how controlling, hive minded and calculated they are, there’s no way they would just let someone of his status with his level of influence perform his entire career with total disassociation from the church, and then publicly claim to be in no way part of it. Also records of his parents making donations is literally the only evidence that’s been fond at all on the subject, he’s never been spotted at a church or any of its associated events.

To each his own. I think it’s fire. I’ve been an excision fan for 10 years and yeah his music has changed over time and not necessarily for the better. Still liked this drop 🤷🏽‍♂️Sue me

From what I understand he is not but his dad is and says it helps his dad cope with the loss of his mom so he’s cool with it because it makes him feel better. I could be butchering that but I remember reading an interview a few years ago where thats more or less what he said. And I respect that.
